These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Medics Express mobile app and the website at medicsexpress.com, operated by MEDICS EXPRESS, registered at No. 18 Imgbi Road, Amarata, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Nigeria (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account, downloading the app, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
If anything here doesn’t make sense, contact us at contact@medicsexpress.com before you agree to it. We’d rather you understood what you’re agreeing to than just accept it blindly.
Who can use Medics Express
Medics Express is intended for licensed and in-training healthcare professionals, currently doctors, nurses, pharmacists, medical lab scientists, lab technicians, radiographers, and dental technicians, and for healthcare institutions seeking to staff roles. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your professional credentials. Providing false or misleading information, including fraudulent documents, is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant regulatory body.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Verification
Verification on Medics Express reflects a real check against the relevant professional regulatory body and the documents you provide, at the time that check was performed. A “verified” status is not a guarantee that your credentials remain current indefinitely. You’re responsible for keeping your registration and any required credentials up to date, and for notifying us if something changes (an expired registration, a change in your regulatory status, etc.).
We reserve the right to re-verify, suspend, or revoke verified status if we have reason to believe the underlying information is no longer accurate.
What we do and don’t guarantee
We verify professional credentials and institutional legitimacy to the best of our process’s ability. We do not guarantee that you will be matched with a specific opportunity, within a specific timeframe, or at all. Being verified means the opportunities you see are real, it does not guarantee a particular outcome.
For institutions: we verify the professionals on our platform against their regulatory council records. We do not guarantee a specific candidate’s performance, conduct, or fit for a role beyond what verification itself covers.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: provide false, fraudulent, or misleading information or documents; use the platform to circumvent verification, including attempting to arrange placements outside the platform specifically to avoid the verification process; harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users; attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization; or use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Institution responsibilities
Institutions using Medics Express to staff roles agree to provide accurate information about the role, facility, and terms of engagement, and to treat healthcare professionals matched through the platform professionally and in accordance with applicable labor law.
Intellectual property
The Medics Express name, logo, and app are our property. You’re granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for its intended purpose, finding or filling healthcare staffing opportunities. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or website content without our written permission.
Disclaimers
Medics Express is provided “as is.” While we take verification seriously, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every match will be successful. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Medics Express is limited.
Termination
You may stop using Medics Express and request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@medicsexpress.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, provide fraudulent information, or if your professional registration is revoked or found to be invalid.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date and, where the change is significant, notify app users directly.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
